01 / Websites and ecommerce

Build around what your customer needs to know.

Page count alone does not describe a project. Define content, functionality, languages, editing and integrations before pricing.

Visitors arrive with questions: what do you offer, is it relevant, and how can they contact you? Organise pages and content around those questions instead of filling a site with images and vague headings. Define company, service and contact pages, languages, and existing brand materials. After approving the structure, design and develop the agreed pages, content management and functionality. Before launch, review navigation, forms, links and reading at different screen sizes, then hand over editing guidance and operating responsibilities. Stores, booking systems and custom platforms have separate scopes; they are not assumed additions to a company website.

01Pages that explain the business
Home, company, services, questions and contact: define the purpose and content of each page, not just a page count.
02Editing and updates
Specify editable copy, images and sections, with the roles permitted to change them.
03Navigation and functionality
Mobile and desktop reading, forms, languages, links and external integrations within the agreed scope.

From information structure to a site you can manage.

  1. 01

    Understand and structure

Review audience, services and existing content. Map pages and the enquiry journey, assigning responsibility for each asset.

  2. 02

    Approve design and content

Review key page layouts, mobile reading, content and actions. Agree the direction before extending it across the site.

  3. 03

    Develop and verify

Build agreed pages, administration and integrations. Review forms, permissions, languages and links without changing unrelated data or services.

  4. 04

    Launch and hand over

Review deployment, settings, assets and editing guidance. Explicitly assign domain, hosting, backups and support responsibilities.

How does a visitor find the next step?

Explore an illustrative service-site structure. This does not collect data or prescribe a template for your project.

Home / About

What do you offer, and for whom?

A direct introduction, core services and links to relevant details rather than placing everything on the homepage.

To the details

An illustrative journey only. Your audience and workflow determine the actual structure.

Know what you can manage after launch.

Content and permissions
Editable sections, updating instructions and publishing roles.
Ownership and operation
Assign domain, hosting, renewals, backups and access responsibilities.
Support and expansion
Define defect remedies, warranty limits, maintenance and additions in the agreement, preserving legal rights.

Design and usability belong together.

Review link structure, understandable content and accessibility foundations within scope. Google and W3C explain why clear structure and access matter; these references are not a certification or ranking guarantee.

  • Services, audiences, regions and languages.
  • Existing website and pages or functions to add or change.
  • Available identity, copy and images with usage rights.
  • Target date, initial budget and design/content approver.

Before agreement

What does a business website include?

The proposal defines pages, languages, design, development, editing, forms, integrations and handover. Copywriting, translation, photography, content entry and external services are explicit items, not automatically included.

Can I edit the content myself?

Where content management is agreed, specify editable sections, fields and permissions and explain their use at handover. Changing structure or adding functionality differs from updating text or an image.

Who handles domain, hosting and maintenance?

Agree purchase, ownership, renewals, fees, access and backups explicitly. They are not automatically Snuhy responsibilities. Ongoing maintenance, monitoring and updates have a separate scope and duration.

Can you improve the existing site?

Review technology, files, access and content first. Identify what can stay, what needs rebuilding, and any content migration or redirect plan. Do not remove the old site before agreeing the transition.

Will the site rank first on Google?

No ranking is guaranteed. Define agreed technical foundations such as page titles, URLs and crawlability. Keyword research, content and ongoing search work need a separate SEO scope.

How are cost, timing and revisions set?

By page types, languages, functionality, available materials and integrations. Agree stages, approvals, revision rounds and delivery before work. An initial enquiry is not an invoice or contract acceptance.

Define what your business website actually needs.

Share an outline and your current site if available. Review pages, content, functionality and operating responsibilities before agreeing the proposal and stages.
